Joginder Singh, chef owner of India Samraat, brought the trend of true authenticity of Indian food to the Boston area in 1983. He arrived from India with over 25 years of experience in not only cooking the commonly known food in Indian restaurants, but also those specialties which were never before introduced to Boston area restaurants. Before opening India Samraat with his family in Back Bay he served the community with his expertise cooking at other locations.
